Visit the MyDC webpage. Under the ‘Helpful Links’ located on the right-hand side of the screen look for the ‘Books for Term‘ button. Click ‘Books for Term’ then log in with your MyDC Credentials and select the correct term (i.e. Fall 2023). This will produce a list of the courses you are enrolled in for the upcoming semester. Click on “Go to the Bookstore”. The books for each course will be listed underneath the course title OR visit the Campus Store in person and use one of two PCs located there to print your book list.

The Oshawa Campus Store is currently open Monday to Thursday 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. and Friday 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. The Whitby Campus Store is open Monday to Friday, 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. with the exception of 11 to 11:30 A.M. and 1 to 2 P.M. Please visit the website for updated hours and to purchase books online. Please note the Campus Store will ship internationally.

Yes, by following these steps: Visit www.durhamcollege.ca Log onto MyDC, Go to ‘Helpful Links’ located on the right-hand side of the screen, under ‘Registration’ click ‘Books for Term’

  • Select the correct term (i.e. Fall 2021). This will produce a list of the courses you are enrolled in for the semester.
  • Click on “Go to the Bookstore”. The books for each course will be listed underneath the course Title.
  • Click on the "Shopping cart" icon on the right or the book title to add the textbook to your basket.
  • Click "Continue Shopping" and add the rest of your books.
  • Click "Checkout".
  • Skip down to creating a new account and enter all required information.
  • Click "Submit order".
  • Choose a ‘Shipping profile".
  • Click "Pay now".
  • Enter your credit card information and then click "Submit".

Delivery inside Ontario: The Campus Store uses Purolator Courier and requires a signature upon delivery. Please provide a complete street address with street number and street name. P.O. Box numbers and Rural Route numbers are not sufficient. If your order is being delivered within Ontario, please expect to receive it within five business days. For orders outside of Ontario, delivery times vary. Please contact the Campus Store if you have any questions regarding your order.

 

Books may be returned within 14 days after the first day of classes. The book must be kept in its original wrapping and you must bring your receipt. Any custom edition or final sale prints will be non-refundable. The cashier will inform you of these policies when you purchase your books.

If there is no pricing on the website it means we are awaiting pricing from the publisher. The item is NOT free and as soon as the store is notified of the price, it will be automatically updated on the website. Books that do not have a price indicated or show an on-hand quantity of 0 cannot be ordered on the website. Special order textbooks will be clearly marked under the title and must be prepaid in person at the Campus Store before they will be ordered.

Price matching can only be completed in person at the Campus store. We honour price-matching with the Canadian sites of Amazon and Chapters/Indigo. The textbook must be in stock on the site being price-matched. The Campus Store reserves the right to refuse a price-match if it is lower than we can match.

Please note we do not accept books for buyback during the months of May, September and January. Students often sell their books using the Durham College First-Year Student Facebook page. You can also donate your books to Textbooks For Change at the Campus Store.

Yes, Durham College clothing, accessories, gifts and office supplies can all be purchased online.
